Welcome to The Uni of Everyday Life!

Something we all go through with successes, failures, mistakes and merits, which in turn affects us both socially and mentally.

My name is Darren and I have experienced an eclectic reality of life with many highs and lows, some I am extremely proud of and some I am most definitely not. Now, at forty something and having kicked alcohol into touch, I felt I wanted to give something back to society. My objective is clear:

To encourage and help people who want to ditch alcohol abuse for sobriety, and to raise awareness of its effects on us as individuals and society in general.

My passion to deliver my views, encouragement and advice is driven from personal experience and the issues and menial stresses that are around us every day. Check out my About page but I consider myself extremely fortunate and I have accepted that people like me do make their own mistakes, but with core values, determination, hope and humour we can get back on track.
